The Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve is situated only 83km from Cape Town in the Overberg region and declared South Africa’s 6th World Heritage Site in 2004. The 70 000-hectare reserve boasts with rocky mountains, pine plantations, swimming holes, over 110 species of birdlife and a significant number of endemic Fynbos vegetations, the natural flora occurring in the Cape Floral Region.
The overnight hut, 12km from the start within the reserves boundaries provides bunk beds, mattresses, wood and water and of course stunning, rugged and achingly beautiful views of the Hottentots Holland Mountains.Need to know!
